1. Who processes your data
The data controller is Agrosvetl (the "Company", "we"), head office in Chuo-ku, Osaka, Japan. Website: agrosvetl.com. Data contact: [email protected].
2. What we collect
- Data you provide: name, business email, phone, company name, country and the text of your enquiry.
- Subscription data: email address, date and time of consent, the IP address used to confirm the subscription, interface language.
- Technical data: browser and device type, pages visited and request time, as recorded in web server logs.
We do not collect special categories of personal data and never ask for payment details through the website.
3. Purposes and legal bases
- Answering your enquiry and pre-contractual correspondence — performance of a contract or steps taken before entering into one.
- Sending commercial and informational email — your explicit consent, confirmed by double opt-in.
- Performing contracts and issuing shipping documents — contractual necessity and legal obligation.
- Keeping the site secure and preventing abuse — legitimate interest.
4. Email marketing
We email only people who submitted their address themselves and confirmed the subscription through the link in our first message. We do not buy, rent or scrape address lists. Every commercial email contains an unsubscribe link that works without logging in. See the Email & Anti-Spam Policy for details.
5. Sharing with third parties
We use a limited set of processors: our website hosting provider, our email delivery provider (Amazon Web Services, Amazon SES), and transport and inspection companies to the extent required to perform a contract. Processors act on our instructions and may not use the data for their own purposes. We do not sell personal data.
6. International transfers
Part of our infrastructure (email delivery and website hosting) is operated by providers outside Japan. Transfers take place under service agreements that include data protection obligations, and only to the extent needed to deliver email and operate the website.
7. Retention
- Form enquiries — 24 months from the last correspondence.
- Subscription data — until you unsubscribe; the address is then kept on a suppression list so that no further email is sent.
- Contract documents — for the period required by accounting and tax law.
- Web server logs — up to 12 months.
8. Your rights
You may request access to your data, its correction or erasure, restriction of processing, withdrawal of consent and a machine-readable copy of your data. Write to [email protected]; we respond within 30 calendar days. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.
9. Security
The website is served over HTTPS. Access to enquiries and mailing lists is limited to staff who need it for their duties. Our sending domain is protected by SPF, DKIM and DMARC to prevent messages being forged in our name.
10. Cookies
The site uses strictly necessary cookies (selected language and the state of the consent banner). Analytics cookies are enabled only after you consent. See the Cookie Policy.
11. Children's data
This website is intended for professional market participants. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If such data reaches us by mistake, tell us and we will delete it.
12. Changes to this policy
The current version is always published on this page. If we make material changes we will post a notice on the website and email our subscribers separately.
